The Villa
Le Mas de Belle Combe is a large private property situated in the beautiful hilltop village of Gordes. The house offers magnificent views of the Luberon Valley. The 2500m2 garden contains numerous olive trees and stunning rose flowerbeds. Cypress and oak trees provide plenty of shaded areas in which to relax. There is a 13x6m heated pool with a safety cover, a pool house with a kitchenette and a dining table, 2 outdoor showers and toilet facilities.
The outdoor area includes a purpose built Boulodrome and a Garden Retreat for peace and quiet.
The Location
The centre of Gordes village is a 7-10 minute walk from Le Mas de Belle Combe and here you can enjoy a range of restaurants, cafes, shops and the fabulous Tuesday morning market.
The famous 16th century Renaissance Chateau de Gordes sits perched on top of the hill and the town square has served as the setting for numerous films.

In keeping with the traditional architectural style of a “mas” (Provençal farmhouse), the house is constructed using the local stone. The rooms are large and airy yet retain a rustic simplicity with exposed brick, ceiling beams and terracotta tiles. The villa’s Provençal style is effortless with whitewashed walls and ceilings to protect against the heat of the day. Warm saffron and red ochre hues reflect the local pigments and shutters painted with vibrant colours protect against the forceful winds of the Mistral.
